September 29, 2011... Delia's Birthday Card...

Created today... it is called "Flit & Luma" ("Flit" for the flittering butterfly. "Luma" for the Italian word for snail "lumaca") :-)
I like it alot, and I love the names! :-)

This papercut is for a friend of my daughter's. She is at the party right now.

Delia, Congratulations! Happy Birthday! May God bless you, and may He fill your day and this new year with His joy, hope, peace, and love. He cares for you...

September 17, 2011... Serena's Peace...

A friend gave birth to a lovely, little lady three weeks ago. She is darling, precious, and a sweet gift from God. This was part of her gift.

The verse is from Isaiah 26: 3 and says (in English)...
"You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. "

Little (Piccola) Serena, God bless you!!! (Dio vi benedica!!!)

2 Anniversaries Card...

Called: Semblance of My Self-Portrait (I tried, but it is not easy to do a profile of myself, on my own. hahaha... Besides... I still like it.)

Mid September marked three very important events in our lives. One is not pleasant to remember, but is never forgotten. September 11... Twin Towers. I will never forget.

But then we also have two other anniversaries that have had their mix of challenges, but have also been a wonderful blessing, too. My husband and I celebrated 12 years of marriage, and on the same day also celebrated 8 years of living here in Italy.

I am convinced now more than ever of God's faithfulness and goodness, in good as well as difficult times. Through each hard time He sustained us, and He has directed and helped us every step of the way.

I love you, A!! I am so grateful that the Lord brought us together. May He "bless us, protect us, make His face shine upon us, be gracious to us, and give us His peace." (Numbers 6:24-26) May He continue to guide and direct us into His perfect way and give us soft hearts to be open to His will, and ears to hear. Amen.
